How many site toilets do I need for my construction project?
The HSE recommends one toilet per seven workers on a construction site. This is based on BS6465 standards. For sites with over 20 workers, additional facilities should be considered. We can help you calculate the right number based on your workforce size and shift patterns.
How often are site toilets serviced?
All our site toilets include weekly servicing as standard. This includes waste removal, deep cleaning, and restocking of consumables (toilet paper, hand soap, sanitiser). More frequent servicing is available for high-usage sites - just let us know your requirements.
Do site toilets need to have hot water?
While not legally required for all sites, HSE guidance strongly recommends hot water for construction site welfare facilities, particularly in cold weather. Our 110V hot water units and 240V mains units provide hot running water for improved hygiene and worker comfort.
